Wild garlic and mushroom risotto

Freshly picked from the woods, oodles of garlic was sautéed along with mushrooms.    What a glorious day we have had in the garden and on long spring walks. Prawn Malabar curry with pilau rice for din dins tonight. Recipe below(sorry about the photo)   

Wild garlic woods

   Wild garlic fresh from the woods inspired me for our lunch today. Chopped and mixed with homemade butter on crusty French bread, served with ham, Brie, roasted peppers and tomatoes and garlic mushrooms makes for a tasty weekend treat..Happy weekend    

Vegan friday

Tonight’s din dins is meat and dairy free for a healthier change.  Moroccan falafels, smokey grilled aubergines with fried onions, sautéed mushrooms, homemade coleslaw, guacamole and salad, all stuffed in warm pitta bread with chilli sauce. A thumbs up all round.

Sunday bbq roast dinner
